Sometimes you just get really lucky and this one broke the mould. Full sister to the beautiful Twix, but a year apart.
She has almost every positive attribute of both her parents and is both a stunner and a delight to own. I am very excited for the year ahead with this girl. She just keeps on giving and will be my main show girl for 2024/25.
Moving on from an amazing run in the Junior classes, where we bagged some fantastic critiques and our first green cards, we are now showing very lightly in Limit and Open where she is holding her own but up against tough company.
Added to her natural talents she is also trainable, loyal and loving. We are progressing through her Good Citizen training with the Kennel Club and A and S Dog Training in Chesterfield.
Now working towards her Gold having passed silver with both Matty and I. BUT – she does not at all like training the emergency stop. She gets very worried - why we would call her in and then yell at her to STOP? It seems to make no sense to her and frankly I’m not much for upsetting her. SO, we will practice away steadily and see how we go but I’m not sure we will get that certificate any time soon!
UPDATE May 2025
Pancake is now fully health tested and passed heart and eye tests with flying colours. She was back scored in March 2025 and was given a fabulous Grade 1 (2 Calcifications) which we are delighted with.

PB Howe, Bramalodge Baby I’m Yours, just 6m. Wow! Love everything about this young pup, so balanced throughout and her cheekiness in the ring, beautiful head, strong neck and shoulders, good wrap and keel, good ribs, length loin good, kept topline on move, very good coming and going BB/BPIB. One To Watch!
Midland Counties Championship Show 2024 – Judge Lesley Patton
Bramalodge Baby I’m Your’s (Miss EG Howe) I wish she was mine! Super hard dark wb, lovely balanced outline, correct height to length ratio, great temperament, good bone and feet, correct angulation, the more they moved the better she went, BPB, BPIB and in contention for RCC.
Manchester Championship Show 2024 – Judge Martin Sanders
PB (10) Good class which is very promising for the future. 1 Howe, Bramalodge Baby I’m Yours. Eye catching individual of obvious merit. Feminine in head which displays correct balance with correct dentition. Clear in eye which gives off a pleasing expression all topped off with well placed ears. Excellent in neck and front assembly with parallel forelegs. Her ribbing is carried well back to a firm loin and finished off with a well angulated rear with short parallel hocks. She displays true balance in outline on the stack and is sound on the out and back whilst holding a pleasing profile on the go around. She was presented in excellent order and handled sympathetically to gain maximum output. In the line up I was mindful of her tender age but in my opinion she was well worthy of the RCC then BPIB and delighted to hear she went on to claim Hound Puppy Group 2. I can’t see any reason why this exhibit will not wear her crown. This exhibitor’s reaction in the breed ring is what it’s all about most satisfying indeed. Good Luck!

Junior Bitch (7,10)
Howe’s Bramalodge Baby I’m Yours. Smart and typey brindle bitch of correct size. My notes say, ‘compact & powerful’, which she is. So well made, put down in wonderful condition and really excels in movement. She can only improve and must have a bright future.
Judith Carruthers – Bath Championship show 2024
Junior Bitch (4,1)
Bramalodge Baby I’m Yours (Howe) hard coated girl with eye catching demeanor. Slightly heavier all through than I prefer but in no way coarse. She has good bone, moderate angles and balanced all through. Excellent length of ribbing.
Ian Seath – Bournemouth Championship Show 2024
Junior Bitch (7 Entries) 1st: HOWE, Miss Emily Bramalodge Baby I’m Yours. Really harsh coated wild boar with correct size, proportions and a lovely topline which she held at all times. Moved like a dream in this class with good forward reach and driving from her well angulated hindquarters. Good reach of neck. Very happy temperament. Good length of ribbing, very tidy underline. I had my eye on her in the challenge but, in the heat, she didn’t quite put it all in.
Sue Seath - Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show 2024
Junior Bitch (7, 1 abs) 1st Howe’s Bramalodge Baby I’m Yours Compact dark wildboar with what I consider to be the perfect type of coat. She has a harsh, weatherproof top coat and the harsh hair extends all the way down her legs to her feet. She also has good furnishing on her jaw which is difficult to achieve with this type of coat. This breed is meant to be suitable to work and with this type of coat they are well protected to enable them to do the job they were intended for. She has a balanced overall outline with attractive head, carried proudly on a good length neck which flows into well laid shoulders with good forechest. Good bone and substance throughout. Overall body shape is good and her hindquarters are well angulated. Super temperament which she showed by happily wagging her tail on the table examination. Covered the ground well in profile, holding her outline
